I have been back in Winnipeg for about a month now.

Thank you everyone who took time to read about my experiences in Kamuli, Uganda over the past year!

In particular, I would like to thank everyone who sent me messages asking questions about HIVAIDS, poverty, food, Uganda, technology, and a whole host of other random topics.

And of course--a big thank you as well to everyone who didn't comment--but then when I came back, told me that they always wanted leave a comment on my blog, but thought that it would be creepy. Don't worry--TOTALLY not creepy. I absolutely love hearing from people who read what I write!

As I begin studies in Creative Communications at Red River College, this blog is going to undergo a bit of a makeover. I intend to focus on social justice issues related to sub-Saharan Africa, and how Africa is perceived here in Canada through the western media.

So, if you would like to unsubscribe now that I am home, please feel free to do so. No hard feelings! However, I would also be thrilled if you continue to get my blog posts emailed. Either way!

If anyone has any questions about ANYTHING, Uganda or AIDS related, please let me know and I will either answer, or find someone wiser than myself (yes, those people do exist...haha...)
